The writer is from Porto Torres. My father taught me to swim in Balai beach and therefore I feel a lot of emotion and responsibility in describing this territory of mine. A fragile region that starts from the beach of Fiume Santo up to the Abbacurrente tower, which has found a possibility of development in the petrochemical plant and which now, through its headquarters in the Asinara National Park, seeks sustainable development that can count on the support of one of the most important ports in Italy. The urban context of these fantastic coves offers the possibility of having many useful services at hand. The unmissable stop, the glorious past of Porto Torres, which is kept in the city archaeological park, where you can admire the remains of public buildings, houses gathered in blocks, paved streets and spas, all incorporated in the Turritano Antiquarium, the museum that guards the discoveries of decades of excavations.
Incredible natural spectacles, the scents of Mediterranean vegetation, unexplored coasts caressed by a turquoise sea.
